Where did I start?

I’m no stranger to moving. I lived across South America and California before settling with my family in Bee Cave, so when a client tells me they are landing in a city they don’t know, I have been in those shoes.

Before real estate I worked in interior design and custom home building in Santa Barbara. In 2008 I was assisting a consultant at a kitchen and bath showroom: placing orders, building design guides (what we would now call mood boards) and handling procurement. My boss taught me a rule I still use with every client: never assume.

How did I get into real estate?

I got my license in January 2010, shortly after the financial crisis. I knew my strengths were meeting people and having more say over my time, and I already understood a bit of residential construction, so it felt natural.

The early years were not glamorous. I worked day and night and barely made any money. A mentor told me that if I planted seeds and watered them, they would grow, and I planted a lot of them in 2010 through 2012. Many of the connections from those years became favorite clients and referral partners.

What does design and construction training change for clients?

It changes what I notice. For sellers, I can walk your home the way a buyer will, and tell you which refinements are worth the money and how to present the architecture and light. For buyers, I can look at an existing home and see both its potential and what it would take, which is especially useful in a market full of custom homes.

That eye is the reason I built a dedicated page on how I prepare, price and launch a luxury home.

What do I believe about this work?

Relationships first. My business runs on referrals, repeat clients and multi-generational relationships, and that only works if people are willing to send me their friends and family afterward.

Honesty second. I tell clients the truth about pricing and expectations even when it is not the answer they hoped for, because earning your trust will always matter more than making a sale. And I believe collaboration between agents, not competition, is what actually serves clients well.

I also believe first impressions matter: you only get one shot, so choose it wisely and be prepared.

Why Bee Cave, and what do I do in the community?

In 2020 my husband and I built our home and moved to Bee Cave, and I have spent the years since deepening my roots here. My children go to the local elementary school and I volunteer there. I have volunteered with Dress for Success, and I joined the Junior League of Austin in 2010, where the leadership training has been valuable ever since.

My motto is short: live here, give here, sell here. When you are selling a lifestyle, your reputation is the whole business.

What recognition have I received?

I have said that recognition belongs as much to my clients as it does to me, and the industry has noticed too. In my main site’s wording:

  • RealTrends: top 1.5% of agents nationwide (announced June 9, 2026)
  • Platinum Top 50 REALTORS® (Austin): multi-year winner and finalist
  • Austin Business Journal: multi-year Top Producer; Women in Business nominee; Community Champion nominee (2026)
  • 2025 REALTOR® of the Year: finalist
  • Inman “Most Innovative Agent” 2026: finalist
  • Austin Real Producers: magazine cover, September 2025
  • Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS)

What am I doing when I’m not showing homes?

Often watching my daughters play soccer, traveling, or on a tennis or pickleball court. I love that so many neighborhoods around Lake Travis are built around an active lifestyle, and I use that firsthand knowledge when I help clients choose where to live.
